WARNING: Expect a startup delay of about two and a half minutes for this demo program; if you are involved in a time critical task requiring you to switch applications this would be a problem for you. If speech is not enabled on your computer there may be periods of about half a minute where nothing seems to be happening; just be patient. There are no such delays in the purchased product or in the shareware product if you are a registered user.
This Demo Version of the Musical Set Complete™ software package exists to let you become aware of this time-saving product; use it at your own risk.
If you register the demonstration product as shareware then a floppy disk of the shareware version will be sent to you. The shareware fee is $10 (this includes all charges) U.S. currency, check drawn on a U.S. bank, or cashier's check (U.S.) or traveler's check (drawn on a U.S. bank).
Bug Fixes
Version 1.0.2: Allowed users inadvertantly to modify files they didn't intend to.
Version 1.0.1: An anomoly existed in the file reading routines which under peculiar circumstances would result in half a megabyte of contiguous memory loss; after studying the code carefully two routines were taken out of a library, reinserted, the library was recompiled, and mysteriously the problem went away. Another change was made concerning the way the program handles low memory situations when reading in files containing many parts (i.e., many windows of data); if the program runs out of memory while reading in such a large file it unequivocally returns to the Finder (and doesn't crash or get confused any more). It is rare that anyone would use this program to read in huge text files, but if you do, be sure to save your work in the active windows before attempting to do so because if the program does quit to return to the Finder under these conditions it won't ask if you want to save the data in your windows.
